Ghostbusters: Afterlife Clip Brings Back Staypuft!
A new clip, dropped by Sony Pictures, features Paul Rudd and a surprise character from the original 1984 film, Staypuft! The short snippet sees Rudd shopping in a local store when a bunch of Staypuft Marshmallows pop to life and start to get up to mischief. Yep, Staypuft is out of the bag and half way down the isle.
Rudd plays Mr. Grooberson, a seismologist interested in the strange earthquakes happening in the local area, who teams up with family to investigate the supernatural occurrences. Though it’s very possible that baby Staypufts may just upstage the seasoned actor.
Originally set for July 2020, the release date was then moved to June 11th 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently, it’s slated for a November 11th 2021 release.
