‘Day of the Dead’ Cast Reuniting in ‘Night of the Living Dead 2’

by | Jul 7, 2021

I’m not a huge fan of low budget zombie films, but there is one film that’s in the works that has certainly got my attention. Writer/director Marcus Slabine (The Dark Offerings) has been secretly working on his unofficial Night of the Living Dead sequel, and whilst this might not anything of note;  I’ve seen my fair share of these, this one just got real interesting thanks to it’s cast.

NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD II takes place on a remote island where a small group of survivors of the zombie apocalypse take shelter, only to face fresh terror when the flesheaters find their way ashore.

A recent teaser trailer revealed a very exciting trio of actors that will be joining the project, the survivors of Day of the Dead, star Lori Cardille, Terry Alexander and Jarlath Conroy, all of whom were last seen sunning themselves on a remote island.

Cardille herself dropped the video which hinted at the reunion.

If you ask me…Night of the Living Dead II is beginning to sound more and more like a Day of the Dead sequel, after all Night does indeed follow Day!
